1 Peter 3:7-9
New Living Translation
7 In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.
8 Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.
9 Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.
How are we treating each other? I do believe that the husband has to treat his wife right or his prayers will be hindered but I think it can go all kind of ways. How are we treating everyone around us including our family? If a man’s prayers are hindered what about mine and yours when we don’t treat people the way Jesus would. You know He would love the unloveable. He went to a cross for my sins and I can’t forgive someone who has offended me. The word says to bless them who has hurt you. Now I want say it is easy but I believe the cross was hard. Just remember everyone is not where you are. We all have our own cross to carry. God said to pick up your cross and follow Him. So who are you following? Jesus or the world?
Be kind to one another
