When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”

“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.

“You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, but if not it will not be so”.

2 Kings : 9-10

Two ifs, if we are there we will receive and if we are not too busy to receive what God has for us. When you read the chapter you can see how many times the prophets tried to stop him but he wanted more from God we have to get so hungry for God that we go after Him with determination nothing will stop us.
