HUNGRY?

Matthew 5:6

New International Version

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.

How hungry are you for more of Jesus today? You see we are hungry for food and we go eat. How much do you hunger for the word of God? You will chase after what you really want. When you look at something cold and icy after you have been outside hot and sweaty you are so thirsty you can get a headache trying to get it down so fast. But we never get that hungry or thirsty for the word of God or church? Not even prayer. Remember that prayer is a conversation with God. How much do you want that special person in your life to talk to you? How hard did you go after the person you married? Well you should put even more energy in going after Jesus. This world, the people and things in it will never satisfy you but Jesus can always fill you up with what you need. You see we really need Jesus more now than ever and everything around you tries to keep you from getting closer to Him. I am asking today who are you talking the most and you will see who is the most important to you.
