Luke 15:28-31
English Standard Version
28 But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, 29 but he answered his father "Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him!" 31 And he said to him, "Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours!"
What are you angry at God about? Or who are you angry about? Don’t ever forget he had a right to be angry. He was the one doing all the work. He had stayed and obeyed. Only to see his brother come in after everything he had done and they threw a party for him. But there was sin in the camp. He was the one who was losing out because he chose to not forgive. He lost the love that they could give each other because he couldn’t forgive, what had been done to him and others. God will always have open arms for a sinner. I think it’s easier to forgive a sinner than a brother or sister. Just remember we are in this together. God sees you and them and He is in control. Just remember forgive today so you can forget tomorrow. The father says you will always be with Him. Forgive so you can stay close to God.
