For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit,
God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
2Timothy 1:6-7
As we are getting ready to start the New Year think of what you want to set on fire. Paul was reminding us to fane the flame of God. I was taught what you feed grows what you starve dies. If we put the power, love and self-discipline of God in our lives then our fire will only get bigger. If we cut the oxygen off from our fire then the life of the fire will go out. What are your plans with God this year?
